As you’ve read here a few posts back, you know my boyfriend is in London till Friday, and as a normal and loving girlfriends; I miss him.
So I keep this sample card from the perfume he has, from sleeping to going to the store to doing my laundry, it’s by my side. Not that I’m desperate cause he’s gone for a few days, it’s just nice to have that/his smell with me :)
Think I’m crazy or do you do things like this also?

Saturday my boyfriend and I celebrated our 4th anniversary! I made him this ‘DIY Valentine Kit’ and yesterday evening we went out to dinner.
What’s in the kit?: Peach champagne, two champagne glasses, real good ‘Belgian speculoos’ (gingerbread) with nuts and chocolate, heart shaped candles, a card with a big ‘4’ on it and a perfume voucher.
Oh and we also saw (some bad) horror movies: Repo Man, Scream 4, Super and Quarantine 2
Cause yesterday was such a beautiful and warm day I decided we had a picnic! I made a pasta salad and croutons (recipe follows) and went to the nearby park.
^ Pasta salad: pasta, tzaziki + curry powder, parmesan cheese, cherry tomatoes, salad, cheese cubes and mushrooms. Just choose the quantities, mix everything together, put it in the fridge for an hour or so and it’s ready
^ Croutons: cut a toast bread into small squares and put them in a pre-heated oven for 20 minutes at 200°C.

Dammit! Forgot to take pictures from the dessert! It was white chocolate covered banana slices and it was goooood :)
Yesterday I went to the ‘fabric spectacle’ (yes, I translates it and this is what it’s called :)) It’s like a biiiiiiig (and I mean really big) market with thousands of fabrics!
I called it a little piece of heaven on earth :) I walked around for a couple of hours and this is what I bought:

World map fabric. I’ve been looking for this a while so had to buy it (although it was expensive, it’s worth it!) And it’ll hopefully turn out into a pretty skirt :)
This is plasticized cotton and will be an oversized clutch (including green zipper :))
These fabrics I bought for my boyfriend for a now still secret project, which I’ll tell you about soon (can’t tell when, depends on my boyfriend :))
I made him some instructions and a map which a marked location where he had to go to, he did good and found me easily at the location which was a little (very cozy) Spanish restaurant where we had a delicious dinner and some tea afterwards.

Yesterday my boyfriend and I celebrated our ‘monthiversary’ and I made dinner.
I wanted to make something fresh, healthy, spring-alike and delicious! So I came up with these tortillas. Which are also very easy to make: slice some veggies you like (I used red and yellow paprikas, tomatoes, zucchini, corn and onions) and add some (veggie) minced meat, put them in an oven pan and heat it up at 180° for 30 minutes and when it’s ready just put in on the table (so you can make your own tortilla). Then heat the tortillas in the microwave and you’re ready! I also bought some cream cheese (I used Philadelphia with dried tomatoes), parmesan cheese and some salad. And it was really good! We both gave it a 9/10 :)

As dessert I made grilled fruit (just slice up some fruits you like and put them in the oven for 10 minutes at 180°) served with some whipped cream and chocolate sprinkles. Also very tasteful, but it was all gone when I realized I didn’t took any pictures :)
And here’s what my boyfriend bought me: some really delicious chocolate easter eggs (crispy milk and white chocolate) and a super cute card (he always finds the best cards!)

And afterwards we watched (the second half of) ‘The girl with the dragon tattoo’ which I thought was a good movie, a bit of a horror story now and then but I liked the (surprising) end.
So again it was a great evening, and as my boyfriend himself said it ‘may there still be countless monthiversaries to come!’
Tomorrow my boyfriend and I will be celebrating our montheversary (we call our monthly anniversaries this way :)) We’ll be together for 3 years and 8 months!
I’ll prepare a two course meal that will hopefully be tasteful! If I don’t forget I’ll take pictures and give you the recipes later
